Ingredients
  

  • 200 gr. flower
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 30 gr. brown sugar
  • 1 packet yeast dried
  • 50 gr. butter
  • 0.5 dl. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 7 el. apricot jam
  • Frying oil
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Berliner Bulbs are also very good with bosvruchen, strawberry jam or some other tasty. You can then replaced by another apricot flavor.
  • Please preferably lukewarm milk.
  • Sift the flour with the salt and sugar into a bowl. Stir in yeast. Melt the butter over low heat. Make a well in the flour mixture and pour the butter with the milk. Keep whisking the eggs with the mixer. Knead the dough 5 minutes on the lowest setting. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and a piece of plastic wrap and let dough rise for about 1 hour. Meanwhile, heat the oil in the fryer to 160 degrees Celsius.
  • Dust the work surface with flour and roll the dough to a piece of 0.5 inch thick. Press it through a glass or uitsteekvormpje circles, diameter about 6 inches from. Brush the edges with water and spread the jam on half the rounds. Cover with the other circles and press the edges with a slightly smaller glass or with the fingers closed. Fry the balls in about 8 minutes until golden brown. Turn them halfway and let them drain on paper towels. Sprinkle the balls with powdered sugar.
