Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 1 1 / 3 cup chopped green onions
  • 3 / 4 cup minced fresh parsley
  • 3 / 4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 / 2 cup raisins
  • 1 / 2 cup walnuts
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 1 / 2 teaspoons cumin

Instructions
 

  • Put 4 cups water and rice in a large saucepan.
  • When it starts to boil lower heat and simmer for about 35 minutes.
  • Drain if left water and pour the rice into a large bowl.
  • Allow to cool.
  • Mix the chives, parsley, pecans, walnuts and raisins.
  • Pour the olive oil, lemon juice, soy sauce and cumin in a small bowl and stir in dressing.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad, season to taste and serveins and pecans
