Ingredients
  

  • 11 / 2 pound diced lamb
  • 1 / 2 pound of phyllo
  • 350 gr. Grated Cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 200 gr. Frozen Peas
  • 2 tsp. Parsley
  • Lemon juice 1 lemon
  • 100 gr. Olive oil

Method
 

  1. Wash and dry the meat. In a saucepan heat up 5 tablespoons of olive oil and fry the meat brown well from all sides. Add the garlic, onion and parsley and stir for 2-3 minutes. Add the peas and lemon juice and 1 cup hot water. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, left only with the sauce and soften the meat.
  2. Lay pastry sheets on lightly floured surface and divide by four, the lafonete and cut into square pieces. Take four to four and put 1-2 tablespoons in the center of the filling and 1 tablespoon cheese. Fold in a folder and put in greased baking pan. Brush with remaining oil and bake in the oven, covered with foil for half hour. Unfold and bake for 20-25 more minutes, rodokokkinisoun.
  3. Place on a platter, garnish with parsley leaf and serve with tzatziki.
